JOB TRANSITION AMONG SCHOOL TEACHERS IN COIMBATORE CITY
Success of educational institutions depends on Student’s Outcome. Whereas, making students as a
productive asset or responsible citizens reside in the hands of Teachers. Hence, it is the institution
responsibility to keep teachers’ satisfied and to retain the efficient and experienced teachers in their
institution. Thus in this study an effort has been made to ascertain the reason for Job Attrition among
School Teachers in Coimbatore city. The result of study portrays that low level of Job satisfaction leads
to Job Attrition. Hence, it is the duty of management to initiate necessary action to contain job attrition
among school teachers’, thereby the institutions as well as students may have a bright future.
