ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION AND POWER CUT MONITORING THROUGH SMART DEVICE

Abstract

Recent year's electricity consumption has reached beyond its limits. It is a major requirement for humans and
at the same time a major threat to society. But humans learned to live only with electricity in their day to day
life. Human resources have become extinct now a day. So the generation of electricity is done by nonrenewable resources rather than renewable resources. Our paper deals with both the electricity consumption
of the household articles and the power cut off the house are calculated and monitored from the smart meter
by using a smart device. This information can be viewed by both the user and the electricity board. This
system makes the electricity board avoid manual calculations of the electricity consumption of each house.
And also by viewing the data, one can reduce their consumption of electric power.
