Abstract

Vehicular ad-hoc network facing some difficulties due to increased vehicle mobility, varying inter vehicle
spacing, and different vehicle density. The previously mentioned challenge is done by mobility prediction
of vehicles since it is used to improve overall vehicular ad-hoc network performance by continuous
service availability. To address these issues we propose a position predictive data collecting scheme. For
calculating the present position of future mobility based position predictive on period synchronization
using vehicular nodes and the network work normally until some of the mobility link fails. For balancing
the energy consumption among the nodes in the network is done by moving the trajectory adjusting
strategy is proposed. The mobility prediction vehicle’s request for average delay under frequent network
topology is calculated by wayside units or base stations. All of these results proved that the proposed data
collecting scheme has desirable performance than the existing schemes.
