SKILL SETS FOR RURAL ENTREPRENEURS SUSTAINABILITY IN CENTRAL DISTRICT OF TAMILNADU

Abstract

Rural entrepreneurs play a major role for the rural as well economic progress of a country. Even though,
Central and State government have introduced numerous schemes for the growth of rural entrepreneurs
only few entrepreneurs are able to survive. Thus, in this study at attempt has been made to understand the
skill sets required by entrepreneurs for their survival. The result of the study disclosed that
communication, learning, entrepreneurial, technical etc., are the significant skills required by rural
entrepreneurs for their sustainability.
