Ambidextrous Leadership and Change-Oriented Organizational Citizenship Behavior: Mediating Role of Trust in Leader

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The purpose of the study was to empirically test the impact of ambidextrous leadership on change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior and the mediating role of trust in leader. The sample of the study was the employees of textile industry of Pakistan, and data were collected from employees and their supervisors. The sample size was 679 for this study. The results revealed that ambidextrous leadership was positively related to change-oriented organizational citizenship behavior and trust in leader mediated the relationship between predictor and criterion variables. We have used causal attribution theory to test the hypothesized model.
