Influencing the Operational and Organizational Performance through Supply Chain Management

Abstract

The study was conducted to test the impact of supply chain management practices on the operational and organizational performance of the firms of Pakistan. Instruments were adopted from previous studies and data were collected from 326 sample of Karachi-based SCM employees only, from different industries. Regression was used to test the hypotheses and results suggested that there is an impact of SCM practices on the performance of firms, however, the impact is only on the operational performance of the firms, and not on the organizational performance.
