Linking Effective Leadership Styles with Employees Performance in Manufacturing Sectors: Exploring Mediating Role of Organizational Commitment

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between effective leadership styles (Transformational Leadership, Transactional Leadership, and Laissez-faire Leadership) that enhance employee performance in manufacturing industries with respect to organizational commitment. This study was conducted SPSS analysis and found that organizational commitment partially mediates the relationship between transformational, transactional, and Laissez-faire leadership styles and employee performance. Based on finding, organizations can enhance the employee performance by implementing this effective leadership styles. This research study also concludes that organizational success mostly depends on employee commitment that effectively reduce labor turnover. Further, Pakistani manufacturing industries has been facing with a number of issues, including poor employee satisfaction and performance.
