Examining The Factors Impact the User's Continued Intention to Use IoT Services: An Arabic Translation and Validation of The Survey Instrument Process

Abstract

Due to the rapid growth in connectivity of smart devices via the Internet, opportunities for Internet of Things (IoT) are booming. Saudi companies recognize the business benefits of IoT solutions and its impact on their profits. medium and large organizations in Saudi Arabia are expected to adopt an IoT solution for their business. In order to collect a vital information to examine the factors impact the user's continued intention to use IoT services, the researcher of this study requires a well-defined survey instrument in Arabic language, since the targeted group are Arabs who lives in Saudi Arabia . the present study aims to review and present methodologically strong, empirically validated procedures to translate and validate the survey instruments that examining the factors impacting the user's continued intention to use IoT services in Saudi Arabia into Arabic Language. This research applied the backward translation method and developed an Arabic instrument for thirteen constructs that generated an acceptable level of reliability and validity. Conclusions, implications and future work are provided at the end of this research.
