Development of Rasbperry PI Based Underwater Image Capturing System

Abstract

To study the habitat of underwater creatures, acquisition of images /videos to be performed for further processing. Acquisition of underwater images is done by the camera. The captured images are further processed for analysing the habitat, providing nourishment information to the cultivating farmers. The objective of this research work is to develop a low cost, low power consumption, effective image capturing system especially for aquaculture using Raspberry pi to monitor the aqua creature from anywhere, any time in the world through android mobile phone. In this research, Raspberry pi system is used as web streaming server.
