SOME pG-AXIOMS

Abstract

It was Gupta who first used connected sets to define a new kind of separation axioms known as G-axioms. Some of the G axioms are G₁, G₂, G₂', sG₁, sG₂ and sG₂' axioms. Quite recently the author [5] introduced semi*G-axioms using semi*-open sets. Replacing open sets doing separation by pre-open sets in these axioms, new concepts of pG₁, pG₂ and pG₂' axioms are introduced and studied in this work. These new extensions are termed as some pG-axioms. Non coincidence of these axioms is shown by various counter examples.
