The Online Education System; A Solution of Epidemic of COVID-19

Abstract

Coronavirus is killing many people around the globe. Many countries have closed their all educational institutes to stop the spread of this epidemic. This decision by countries has originated the need for online education. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the learning management system in crisis and disaster time for tertiary education. This investigation was done by highlighting the effect of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use. Furthermore, the relationship between behavioral intention to use and actual system use was analyzed. The data for the study were collected from 181 respondents and analyzed by using AMOS. The results highlighted that adoption of LMS is the need of the hour and this system is always a solution in times of disaster. The service quality has no role in the adoption of LMS. This research can help the educational institutions while making their policies or reforms.
