Experiential Learning: A New Paradigm in Education

Abstract

The process of the education system is changing day by day, with the emergence of innovative theories. Experiential learning theory and Kolb's learning cycle are some of the most extensively known contemporary educational theories. Experiential learning is considered a more practical approach to learning as compared with didactic approaches through which students enhance their learning through the process of reflective practice. It has a noteworthy place in the design of new education programs that are moving from outdated to a student-centered approach. The purpose of this article to provide an extensive understanding of the concept of experiential learning, its advantages, hurdles, and its implementation in the Pakistani scenario.
