“New Uzbekistan” – “New elections” a turning point in reforming the country's political system

Abstract

This article examines the participation of political parties in the electoral process in Uzbekistan. In addition, the question of the next elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev, the activities of deputies, their role in the renewed Uzbekistan. The opinion of international experts on the elections to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019 was studied. According to the recently adopted Electoral Code, the elections were held in accordance with international standards, and relevant conclusions were drawn.
