Organizational Attachment: A Gig Worker’s Perspective
Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the relationship between organizational attachment and treatment fairness, working freedom, and equity of earnings for gig workers. A descriptive approach was used to study this relationship as the objectives were pre-defined. PLS-SEM was used for the analysis of data. The results from the study indicate a significant relationship between the independent and dependent variables. R2 value of 30.5% indicates that independent variables were able to predict approximately 30.5% variance in the dependent variable. Further f2 values for all the independent constructs was found to be significant, indicating that all the constructs had impact on the dependent variable and that each of the independent construct contributed significantly in predicting the variance in the dependent variable
