Abstract

This study predicted that the Indonesian economy will continue to decline due to the COVID-19 crisis, which will continue to spread globally. This trend is believed by evidence of the decline in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which continues to drop compared to the quarter and 2019. To prove this prediction, we have conducted preliminary readings of various government policies to fight against the spread of the deadly virus, which has implications for economic decline. After understanding the data and information that influence each other, we then analyze with a qualitative and percentage approach to ensure that our analysis answers the study questions while still based on the validity and reliability of the findings. Our findings are our prediction that due to the government's significant challenges in dealing with the spread of pandemic through various government policies, the economy is predicted to continue to decline national GDP with an indication of decline by 1.5 percent in 2020. Therefore, this finding is beneficial for policymakers who need to understand national issues with a downward trend.
