Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the latest and emerging technology across the world and the one in which maximum research is taking place. It has impacted almost all the sectors of economy however its effect is felt to a high degree in the banking sector. While the growth in adoption of Artificial Intelligence has been happening at an organic level, post the pandemic of COVID it is felt that AI will be a ‘must-have’ technology in the banking sector. In this paper, we will discuss how Artificial Intelligence has been used in the Indian banking sector, benefits, challenges and also the way forward.
