Model of Traveler Satisfaction: The Influence of Perceived Risk, Perceived Value, Travel Motivation to the Interest in Return Visits (A Case Study Jakarta City)

Abstract

This study is purposed to test and analyse Perceived Risk, Perceived Value and Travel Motivation to the interest in return visits.  Reseacrh methodology used in this study is descriptive method.  Objects of the study is all domestic travelers travelling in Jakarta with the number of 120 respondents.  The approach used in this study is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the analysis instrument Smart-PLS.  Result of the study showed that  Perceived Risk has negative influence to the return visits.  Perceived Risk does not infuence the interest of return visits.  Perceived value has positive influence to the interest of return visits. Perceived value has positive influence to the travelers satisfaction.  Travelers motivation has significant correlation to the travelers satisfaction, and travelers satisfaction has positive effect to the return visits.  Result of this research  is expected to become the study for improving the lack  or weaknesses in Jakarta tourism sector specifically and Indonesia tourism sector generally.  Jakarta city torism management is hoped to focus in increasing traveleres satisfaction, that is by improving the existing facilities, maintaining and building new playing rides, and improving the service to travelers.  These eforts are dne to increase travelers  return visits to Jakarta.  If  travelers are satisfied when visiting the city, the intensity to return visits will be higher.  Better factors or stronger factors from this study is expected to be maintained their  consistency or if possible to be increased for supporting more and enhancing the quaity of Indonesia tourism in general and Jakarta torism in specific as the capital, center of government and center of business in Indonesia.
