Organizational Restructuring: For Better or Worse?

Abstract

The objective behind this study was to findout the impact of organizational restructuring on counterproductive work behavior, life satisfaction, job burnout and organizational commitment of three organizations that have gone through the process of restructuring within the past year and subsequent changes within the organization have been observed. The study was based in Karachi, Sindh – Pakistan and the number of respondents was chosen 55 each to understand the common perception about restructuring and measure the impact. The literature on the topic of counterproductive work behavior, life satisfaction, organizational commitment, job burnout, and mainly organizational restructuring were studied based on the empirical evidence of there relationship with one another or simple among individual constructs.
