Goods and Services Tax (GST) – A review of tax reform, tax administration and tax knowledge of MSME sector

Abstract

The present paper is an attempt to know the various dynamics associated with the GST. This paper is a review in nature and for this purpose, secondary data has been collected. The findings of this paper have shown various positive and negative impacts of this new tax regime. After the introduction of“one nation and one tax” concept, it has been observed that therehave been regular changes in the tax rates as per the existing scenario and the government is continuously trying to stream line the tax structure in the interests of the country.
