Construction and Selection of Double Inspection Single Sampling Plan by Attributes [DISSP (0,1)]

Abstract

          Acceptance sampling is concerned with norms of decision about   acceptance or rejection of the lots based on the quality of the product during inspection. Dodge and Romig popularized the acceptance sampling as a major field of Statistical Quality Control.  Various Sampling plans, systems and schemes are developed as per the need of the firms. This paper presents the procedure for the Construction and Selection of Double Inspection Single Sampling Plan [DISSP (0, 1)]. The proposed double inspection single sampling plan shows improvements with respect to Consumer risk and Limiting Quality Level and comparisons are made with existing Single Sampling Plans.
