Women Empowerment in Assam

Abstract

Women empowerment is not only limited to women getting equal rights as men in every aspect. In
today’s society to receive equal rights socially, politically, economically and religiously, women have to
go through self development. In order to achieve true women’s empowerment, women have to grow in
their skills, work ethics, self confidence and move forward together as a group.
