Abstract

Geopolymer concrete is widely used in construction industries now days. This paper deals with the
experimentally study about geopolymer concrete and its physical and mechanical properties by partial replacement
of tannery slurry for fine aggregate in different percentage. How the properties of geopolymer concrete change due
to addition of tannery slurry waste is thoroughly examined in this study. Here the Tannery waste is used as an
industrial waste for the partial replacement with fine aggregate and the concrete is analysed for Flexural,
compressive and split tensile strength. This will reduce the usage of river sand and M-sand. This study’s conclusion
includes arriving optimal mix geopolymer concrete. The best suggestion of eco-friendly concrete which gives the
excellent strength in its properties while mixing 80% fly ash, 20% GGBFS and 80% M-sand and 20% tannery waste.
