Abstract

In this work, we studied the effect of temperature, the quantitative ratio of starting materials, the amount of catalyst, and other factors on the yield of ethyl acetate. Based on the study, the influence of temperature, the quantitative ratio of the starting materials, the amount of catalyst and other factors on the yield of ethyl acetate with an increase in sulfuric acid content by 1.0% was established. The results of the experiment showed that the lower the temperature of the catalysis, the higher the content of ethyl acetate and less ethyl alcohol and water. Based on kinetic studies, a kinetic model of the esterification of acetic acid and ethyl alcohol was created, based on which the activation energy of this model was calculated (Еа = 37.9 + 1.2 DJ / mol). The following condition was taken as an adequacy criterion:
