MIBE-A Modified Identity Based Encryption Technique for Preserving Privacy in Cloud Computing

Abstract

The Open Accessibility & Cross domain Operability of cloud raises issues like data security & integrity. Traditional Cryptographic techniques cannot help the Cloud Service providers & users have to continuously deal with the lurking security threats. MIBE-A Modified Identity Based Encryption Technique for cloud computing that promises to deal with the security threats that may arise in Cloud based computing is proposed. An Encryption technique based on Rotational Shift Operations is proposed. The proposed encryption model is exhaustively tested and the results obtained are meticulously analyzed for demonstrating the efficiency of MIBE.
