Abstract

A Network application provides users to interact with other members using many to many mode. In many to many traffic grooming also known as groupcommunication, a session consists of multiple users (members of the group), where each member can transmit traffic to all other members in the same group. The electronic domain cannot support the users with high speed data transfers, thus we move on to traffic grooming in optical domain. In this paper, provisioning of WDM networks which supports many to many asymmetric (different type with various upload and download speeds) traffic grooming is implemented. The objective of this paper is to minimize the network cost, blocking probability using the Dynamic multicast traffic grooming with Non Splitting Transparent WDM (NSTWDM) node architecture with effective wavelength routing which supports light paths that may span multiple physical links.
