Abstract

An architect's final creation should convey meaning in addition to its aesthetic value. When studying architecture, students engage in a wide range of design-related activities, since the study of design is central to the field. Numerous precedent architects serve as guides for further research and comprehension of the field. One needs the capacity to see or judge a building's design in order to comprehend architectural concepts. The first step in appreciating the work of any designer is to familiarize oneself with that designer's body of work by reading their buildings. There has been an increase in the quantity and sophistication of the built environment. Consequently, instructional approaches used in architectural education must be adjusted to deal with social, political, economic, and environmental difficulties and challenges. Better buildings and cities can only be the result of a concerted effort to integrate new multidisciplinary approaches into architectural education. In order to bridge the gap between theory and practice, teaching that incorporates examples from the real world, as well as innovative methods of cooperation between architectural education and non-academic partners, is necessary.
