Analyse the Key Role Played by Different Sufi Institutions in Development of These Architectural Traditions
Abstract
This study traces the history of Sufi institutions, from their origins inside mosques to their emergence as autonomous organizations meeting the requirements of today's diverse Sufi population. We also talk about how Sufi organizations interact with Islamic government, education, and religion. The study begins with a discussion of the historical circumstances that prompted the establishment of independent Sufi organizations. This study will examine the cultural, architectural, and historical significance of Sufi structures and Sufi orders in the ancient Indian cities of Gulbarga and Bidar, which serve as district headquarters, during the Bahmani era. Urs, a Muslim wedding and funeral rite associated with Sufi saints, will serve as the inspiration for the building's design.
