Performance Measures of a Gas Separator by Employing Boolean Function Technique

Abstract

In this research, the author deals with gas separator system to obtain its reliability measures by employing the Boolean function technique. System configuration has been modified by using parallel redundancy in PSD values and standby redundancy is gas separator to improve the performance of whole system.  This PSD value releases the pure gas to gas outlet. In this model, we use the parallel redundancy in second and fourth units whereas standby redundancy in third unit to improve the performance measures of the considered system. The reliability of the whole system has also been obtained. Algebra of logic has been used to mathematical formulation and solution of the problem.
