Implementation of Human Resources Performance Assessment Information System Using Gamification Methods

Abstract

The quality of human resources in a company is largely determined by the extent to which the existing system in the company can support, motivate, and satisfy the desires of both employees and company organizations. A system that can provide motivation, pleasure, and other interesting things so that human resources within the company enjoy a comfortable working atmosphere and are bound (engaged) to work activities even though carried out repeatedly and the same.

The design of an HR performance appraisal information system using the gamification method is displayed on the website and allows employee challenges (tasks and responsibilities) to be more fun to do, users (employees) will be given points and badges (rewards) when completing challenges and other users (employees) can see the performance of each user (employee) through the leaderboard.

The method of gamification used refers to the process of introducing, changing and operating a service system as well as interactions between humans and computers which draw lots of inspiration from game mechanics that make business processes more enjoyable by including game elements in it and ensuring employee productivity and morale
