Design of Android Application for Detecting Maritime Boundaries and Country Boundaries

Abstract

 

Design of Android Application for Detecting Maritime Boundaries and Country Boundaries is an android application developed for fishermen. The fisher mans who are travelling in sea has so many problems like health problems, location problems, robbery problems etc. There may be a lot of chance to cross the boundary without their knowledge. The proposed application helps to solve the boundary crossing problems. The proposed system consists of two applications called server and client.  Fisher man who travelling along the sea has to load client application in their smart phones. Once they ON the client application, the GPS in their smart phone start working. First, this application tries to find the location where the fisher man currently sails by determining latitude and longitude with time interval. The boundaries of the locations are loaded in the system. If the fisherman reaches the boundary, alarm signal is given to the clients to alert and save them from critical situations. Assume in the event that they cross the limit, the applications naturally send the warning to the server. That encourages the server to take prudent activities.
