IoT based Crop Recommendation System

Abstract

Agriculture being India's backbone in terms of economy requires technological advancements. These advancements will help farmers increase their per capita income and also ease the intensive farming techniques. Currently farming in India is done by traditional practices, crops are just sown into the fields without proper knowledge of the soil leading to high expenditure to support the crop by fertilizers. This work proposes device that will diagnose the pH and recommends the crop to be sown using decision tree. It also indicates the moisture level of the soil that assists farmers to provide efficient irrigation facilities which in return saves their overheads.
