Abstract

In this research paper, Bandwidth and Gain improvement are investigated in Hexagonal Micro strip patch antennas by using suspended techniques. Design and simulation of conventional and suspended Antenna are done to performance analysis to improve its parameters like Bandwidth and Gain. High-Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) software is used to design simulation and antenna parameters verifying. FR-4 dielectric substrate material is used to model design having relative permittivity (A) of 4.4. It has less expensive compare to other materials. The proposed Suspended Hexagonal Micro strip patch Antenna is shown improved bandwidth from 58 MHz to 227 MHz and gains from 1.708 dB to 6.511 dB as compared with conventional Hexagonal candidate. The operating center frequency lies in between 2.35 GHz to 2.58 GHz, which can be used for wireless applications. The Return Loss and VSWR have been investigated in an acceptable range.
