Abstract

In this present generation there is a gradual increase in thefts where it caused fear to the people. So to overcome this problem we have come up with the new security system we call it as home security system. The home security system which we are using now is very expensive. So here we are using various sensors in this home security system. We used two proximative sensors where one is fixed in front of the door and other inside the house. If a known person comes in front of  the door, then the camera which is fixed in front of the door captures the image of that person and then it compares that image with the image in the database, then by using DC motor the door gets opened automatically. If an unknown person wants to enter then the camera which is fixed in front of the door captures the image of that unknown person and compares that image with the image in the database. So with the help of IOT it alerts the user by sending SMS. We are using another sensor which is called LDR sensor and its application is to sense the opening and closing of windows and the operation is done with the help of DC motor. And for controlling purpose we fixed a buzzer, so this buzzer gets activated when an unknown person enters into the house. This can be caught with the second motion sensor which is fixed inside the house. Here we developed an application where all these operations can be easily controlled with that application in the mobile. These all are connected to Raspberry Pi. We used python for raspberry Pi, and the result is displayed with the help of LABVIEW.
