Abstract

Multilevel DC to AC converter is integrated into this new environment for medium and grater level applications to enhance the adaptability of power quality issues. The need is growing in the development of new techniques and topologies in fauor of capable DC to AC conversion method implementation. It is always a difficult task to design the MLI using fewer active switching devices, fewer switching losses on active component and an increase in the number of level of voltage rates. This paper suggests a topology designed for sub multilevel inverters by means of the smallest amount of circuit apparatus. In this research paper, various modulation techniques designed for carrier pulse width modulation are planned, which can reduce the total harmonic distortion and improve the output AC voltages of the fifteen level inverter examine is proposed. In this paper we studied the different switching topologies of 1-phase fifteen level cascaded half bridge multilevel inverters. The simulation is achieved via the software version of MATLAB R2010.
