Abstract

At the recent times field oriented control have turned out to be a standard controlĀ  method for ac machines in industrial field as it guarantees precise torque control according to various load demands. The performance improvement of Induction motor by applying advanced control techniques have been a widespread research area. In this paper PI controller and Sliding mode controller are implemented as the torque controller for field oriented control and the design of the controllers are also illustrated. This paper also showcases a comparison with sliding mode controller and PI controller in terms of the control system design specifications.
