Abstract

In this research, the circular microstrip antenna is proposed with defected ground structure and complementary split ring resonator for tetra band application. The structure is designed on a substrate made up of FR-4 and the size of the substrate is equal to 23 mm of width and 24 mm of length. The proposed antenna has four narrow band resonance from7.72 GHz to 7.79GHz, 11.205 GHz to 11.34 GHz, 11.85 GHz to 12.01 GHz and 15.12 GHz to 15.26 GHz.  The entire structure is simulated with the help of CST studio suite. The simulated result of the various design constraint parameters is presented and these results prove that the projected circular antenna with met material & DGS is the right choice for satellite and Radar Communication in X band.
