Abstract

A network with lot of autonomously organized sensors that are powered by insignificant and unique batteries collectively can integrate process and forward data to remote administrated targets. In recent years, wireless sensor network (WSN) has been drawing more attention and has been applied for ubiquitous data services like healthcare, home automation and military security areas in addition to conventional environment monitoring. The concept of multiple sink mobility is introduced to solve hot spot problem arises in static sink network configurations. Considering the influence of the multiple static sink, a challenging Multiple Mobile-sink Energy Efficient Clustering Algorithm (MMECA) is proposed to increase the lifetime of sensors and to reduce end to end delay.
