Abstract

In this century, technology is undeniable for continuous growth. It appears that businesses have a big beneficiary for this kind of evolution, especially for such companies that need to automate their day to day transactions. One of which is the hike of property management, and the need for computer-based information systems plays an essential role in its success. This paper aims to design and develop a responsive Property Management System. The system incorporates the use of One Time Password (OTP) in compliance with ISO 27001 Access Control for an additional layer of security to the system. The study made use of the object-oriented analysis and design with the Unified Process for software development methodology. Results showed that security has successfully incorporated in Property Management System (PMS) resulted from requesting another one-time password that has sent to the registered user email address before accessing the full features of the system. The system was able to adapt the user viewport through its responsiveness. The ABC company evaluated and accepted the system rated as highly acceptable in all the eight (8) ISO 25010 criteria with security as the highest criterion, ranked second is the compatibility and usability for the third rank. All criteria rated as highly acceptable in verbal interpretation have equivalent weighted mean values from 4.51 to 5.00, respectively
