Abstract

The term data aggregation refers to the process of grouping set of nodes in the network. The groping depends on the homogeneousness of nodes with similar data. The reason behind the data aggregation is to reduce pocket size of data transmission and also to reduce the redundant information at each node. This will increase the lifetime of a network. The aggregation done by a sensing node at each cluster. In existing approaches the mapping cost was more and they consume more energy to transmit the data. So to overcome those drawbacks we propose a cluster based aggregation with more homogeneity. While aggregation homogeneity among nodes identified by high inter similarity of centroid of each cluster. The transmission process in sensor networks secured by RSA and AES algorithms with encryption and decryption. Compared to existing approaches the proposed one demonstrates good performance by means of energy utilization, cost to transmit and security.
