Abstract

The accelerated transitions in the business world have propelled the demand of professionals with customized managerial skills and competencies. In order to suffice this need, higher education is accommodating the changes which are aligned with industry needs and while doing this, many inadequacies are there on the way. The present research is an attempt to provide a detailed insight into the challenges and areas of concern in higher management education. The paper endeavors to allow academicians and researchers to access the shortcomings of higher education in India so that further developments can be planned accordingly. The qualitative study by researchers attempts to further assess the impact of challenges in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) on changing dynamics of Talent Management of faculty. The research concludes with suggestions proposed for Talent Management of Faculty in consideration with changing demand of millennial students.
