Abstract

Graves' disease(GD) is an organ-specific autoimmune disease, characterized by excessive autoantibody levels due to tolerance breakdown of thyroid-specific autoantigens. The aim of this study to determine the correlation between IL-17, CCL20 and   progression of GD.  A Case-control study was performed to 94 patients with GD diagnosed at endocrine-center in AL-Sader teaching hospital with group of 30 healthy individual as control. Blood sample was collected from all patients and control. IL-17 and CCL20 level were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
