Abstract

It is important to have trained staff and students who can utilize their skills and take quick action to treat
the affected person. They can apply the right procedure to prevent more damage. As medical aid offer a
scope of advantages, along these lines it is must for the instructor and understudies to get appropriate
First guide preparing with the goal that they can add to saving lives. It assists kids with turning out to be
more hazard mindful and furnishes them with abilities to keep themselves safe and help themselves or
others whenever engaged with a health related crisis it could spare their life. METHODS- Preexperimental research design was used to assess knowledge regarding first aid management. Data was
collected from 50 teachers in this study with help of the non-probability convenient samples and by using
valid questionnaires. RESULTS: In pre test Maximum 2(4.00%)subjects had good knowledge where has
44(88%) had average knowledge and 4(8%) poor knowledge when post test 49(98%) subjects had good
knowledge and remaining 1(2%) had average level of knowledge. After pretest the knowledge of post test
was increased with mean difference 9.36 &14.22 respectively & P value was <0.0001. CONCLUSION:
With this study project we concluded that there is need to improve the knowledge not only with self
instructional module but also we have to demonstrate the procedures while doing the first aid
management for school children.
