Synthesis of Coumarin under Green approach using Plant assisted Zinc oxide Nanoparticles

Abstract

Plant assisted Zinc oxide Nanoparticles is used as highly effective catalyst in the Von–Pachmann
condensation of phenol or derivatives of phenols with various Beta –ketoesters for the formation of
coumarins and their derivatives obtained with excellent yields, good purity and green synthesis. This
method have very good applications for the synthesis of multisubstituted coumarins.
