Abstract

AISI1060 is also known as C60 which can be treated as medium carbon steel but whit high strength. The deformation of Medium carbon steel is regular practice in field of cold rolling as its have its extensive use in various engineering fields. But rolling itself become complex when high yield is required coz of soft metal deformation. The outcome of this research work is to study the vibrational behavior of the Cold Rolling Mill with suitable analysis of specimen AISI1060 E Grade Steel which passes between the roll to provide with suitable thickness dimensions, under a number of parameters. The Arduino Uno, and Microcontroller MPU 6050 in unison and LabVIEW set up help to study the deviations in amplitude generated by tool movement and machine vibrations. The recorded data on LabVIEW helps to generate the Graphical representation of Amplitude v/s Time and analyse the variations in vibrational movement with help of simulated data. The linear regression done on Python gives an understanding the breaking point of roller.
