Abstract

In current work a simple and environmental friendly green chemistry method is applied for nanoparticles of silver synthesis due to silver nitrate (AgNO3) particles reduction using Moringa oleifera (drumstick tree) leaves extracted solution and investigated its Activity against antimicrobes. The leaves extract of moringa oleifera was mixed with solution of silver nitrate for the preparation of AgNPs. Synthesis of nanoparticles was getting completed when it was found that the colorless solution gets changed to a brown-colored solution. The morphology, crystalline phase and formation of nanoparticles of silver were confirmed using various characterization techniques Microscopic and spectroscopic techniques. After development of silver nanoparticles, the Antimicrobial Activity is studied as an application in various products. Its efficacy was tested by the capacity to inhibit bacterial growth of different pathogenic bacterias. The results show the synthesized AgNPs have a good material for antibacterial activity and biological applications. The method described in the paper is proved to be very eco-friendly, cost effective, convenient and simple approach for silver nanoparticles synthesis.
