Development of E-Content: “No longer a critical Step”

Abstract

Background / objectives. This paper examined various models of development of e content as this is the requirement when we talk about the teaching learning process in the digital world.

Method. In order to achieve the purpose of research various models used in development of e content has been thoroughly reviewed like, ADDIE, ASSURE, Dick Carey & Carey model.

Findings. The researcher has suggested six basic steps for designing the instructional material. So that one can choose any of them or can blend two of them according to their needs, while designing   the e-content. Researcher has also tried to put light on different authoring tools, which are used in development of e-content.

Improvements /Applications These findings suggest that we need not to be scared of technical complexities for development and usage of e content for better learning outcomes. It will act as a ready recknors for beginners to enhance learning and increase the productivity.
