Abstract

In the article, we will consider such a dangerous pest of tomatoes and others from nightshade family (Solanaceae), like tomato leaf mining moth (lat. Tuta absoluta). This is a lepidopteran species from the family of gelechiid moths (Gelechiidae), whose homeland is South America. If tomato moth appears, control measures must be taken immediately. Caterpillars of such pests harm the leaves and fruits from the inside, making passages in them
