To estimate TFP some tools have been used namely Kendrick, Solow and Tornquist. Depreciation of 2% was taken and base year taken is 2011-12 to deflate the several values. Findings of the study reveals that TFP of leather industry in Tamil Nadu was high in the year 2009-10 followed by 2012-13, whereas lowest was recorded in 2004-05.
