Factors Affecting the Perceptions of Investors Investing In Life Insurance Schemes

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the factors that influence investors' perception of insurance plans. In the Indian insurance market, there are 63 insurers, 24 of which are insurers and 39 non-life insurers. Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) is the only public sector corporation among life insurers. The amount of life and insurance coverage rose from 2000-2001 to 2009-2010. The new business forecast and overall premiums for private and public life insurers in India indicate an upward trend in 2018. This shows that the life insurance sector in India has a lot of potential to grow. Life Insurance Corporation of India does better financially than private life insurance undertakings in India. In terms of total premium earnings, the private life insurance industry represented 30 percent of the market share. This paper aims to examine the various factors influencing the perception of investors using the EFA approach to identify factors. The study suggests that a client's interest in life insurance affects various variables and demographics play an significant and important part in the purchasing of life insurance policies. Other factors can affect litigation, medical benefits, bonus rates and other factors.
