The research paper presents the improvement of professional training on the basis of new methodological priorities of the system of professional higher education, which is supposed to radically change the learning processes. An important direction of such changes is the appeal to the personality of the student, the significance of his individual cognitive efforts, and not the traditional priority of knowledge for higher education. In the psychological aspect, the student is presented as a creative self-developing personality, a partner in pedagogical communication, an author of new relationships and a performer of a system of social roles.
